Vladimir I. Kirillov is accordion teacher of the M. Mussorgsky St. Petersburg musical college.
He created special methodic of teaching of playing variety style on accordion and
composed and arranged many compositions. Many of his former students are now famous
musicians — performers and teachers.
In 1984 in the M. Mussorgsky musical college was organized accordion duet: Vladimir
Ushakov and Sergei Likhachov, and V. Kirillov at that time was the person who teached
young musicians to play this music style. In present they are the soloists of the
Saint-Petersburg Musette Ensemble.
V. Kirillov was born on December 10th, 1943, in Kalinin region.
He graduated from the Moscow Gnesin Institute (1969).
During pedagogical activity V. Kirillov also worked as accompanist, arranger and composer.
This edition is first full completed by V. Kirillov.
